Eye of the Tiger

Tiffany chose the name and song for this page.  I have only a few pictures to share right now but many more once I get moved. There was not a sport Dustin did not try, but the one he enjoyed the most was Basketball and he was also on the Marines Basketball team while in Yuma.

The picture below was his Flag Football picture. I remember one of his games he got hit right in the nose with the football, knocked him down and he was right back up and not a tear one. After the game the coach told me he was like a Timex watch. He never quits.

Which was also true in his everyday life. He would get so upset with himself, more than anyone, when he would not complete a task. I always told him "Dustin, I love you and very proud of you no matter what you decide and remember it is yourself you're letting down not me".

(Before Football he played soccer when he was 4yrs old and was more interested in the girls on the team and bugs on the ground than the ball. (Smile

These little hands can wave hello

or put smudges on the wall.

They can fold in prayer, throw a kiss

or reach up when I say, "so tall."

They will clasp your hand for an Autumn stroll

Or shape a dinosaur from clay.

But most of all, they will stay

with you when I'm grown and far away.

Love is patient,

Love is kind.

It bears all things,

Believes all things,

Hopes all things,

Endures all things.

Love never fails.
